On March 25, 2024, Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) Secretary-General LEE Hee-sup paid a visit to Xi’an Municipal People’s Government of China and met Vice Mayor Ms. XIAO Qi.

Vice Mayor XIAO Qi spoke highly of TCS’ constructive role in promoting the Trilateral Cooperation in various areas including local governmental exchanges, economic development, youth and culture. She extended her expectation to strengthen mutual communication and cooperation between Xi’an and the TCS, and work together for the prosperity and development of the region and beyond.
Secretary-General LEE Hee-sup shared that TCS attaches importance to Xi’an on its close ties with Japan and Korea both in history and present-day, and concurred with Vice Mayor XIAO to establish an even closer cooperative relationship for TCS with Xi’an, and make joint contribution for a more friendly and future-oriented trilateral relationship in the future.
