On December 22, 2023, Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) Deputy Secretary-General ZUSHI Shuji paid a visit to Foreign Affairs Office of Xi’an Municipal People’s Government of China and met with Deputy President ZHANG Yong of Xi’an People’s Association with Foreign Countries.
Deputy Secretary-General ZUSHI briefed the development history of the Trilateral Cooperation and TCS’ endeavors in strengthening the mechanism of Culture City of East Asia as a result of the Trilateral Culture Ministers’ Meeting, speaking highly of Xi’an’ close bonds with Japan and the Republic of Korea both historically and in contemporary times. He introduced the outcomes of the 10th Trilateral Foreign Ministers’ Meeting held in this November, and looked forward to a deepened cooperation with Xi’an in various areas especially youth and cultural exchanges.
Deputy President ZHANG Yong extended appreciation on TCS’ efforts in keeping the strong momentum of trilateral local city cooperation as well as trilateral youth and culture exchanges, and expected more cooperative projects between Xi’an and TCS in 2024 which is designated as year of international friendly cooperation by Xi’an.
