Others Secretary-General LEE Hee-sup Met with the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO) Delegation

On December 20, 2023, Secretary-General LEE Hee-sup and Deputy Secretary-General YAN Liang met with the AMRO delegation headed by Director LEE Kouqing. The heads of both organizations introduced the main organizational missions and functions and extended invitations to each other for the future events. The TCS and AMRO affirmed that there was large space for cooperation and committed to closely follow the MoU and strengthen partnership via diverse projects and platforms.
AMRO, established by the ASEAN+3 Finance Ministers, plays a vital role in contributing to the macroeconomic and financial resilience and stability of the ASEAN+3 region. TCS has fostered a close partnership with AMRO since the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in April 2019, with an extension in April 2022. This enduring collaboration underscores TCS's commitment to continue working with AMRO to strengthen “Trilateral+X” finance cooperation, ensuring sustained progress and stability in the region.
