On December 7, 2023, Deputy Secretary-General YAN Liang of the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) delivered a congratulatory speech at the 3rd CJK Sports-Media Forum, hosted by Gangwon Province and Gangwon Domin Ilbo, following the events in 2020 and 2021. The forum aimed to explore new collaborative relationships among the three countries, particularly in light of the upcoming 2024 Gangwon Youth Winter Olympics. Attended by representatives from the Olympic Organizing Committees of China, Japan, and Korea, as well as major local media and experts, the forum focused on prioritizing youth and enhancing their exchanges.
In his speech, DSG Yan stressed the universal language of sports in fostering youth communication and understanding, urging collective dedication to a youth-centric future and the creation of platforms for cooperation. Encouraging media partners' involvement, he highlighted the TCS' commitment to enhancing collaboration. DSG Yan concluded by envisioning a bright friendship among China, Japan, and Korea, echoing the inspiring slogan of the Gangwon Youth Winter Olympics: "Grow Together, Shine Forever."
