TCS Board Members Paid a Courtesy Call on Deputy Minister for Disaster and Safety Management

On November 8, 2017, TCS Board Members paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, and had a meeting with Mr. Ryu Hui-in, Deputy Minister for Disaster and Safety Management.
During the Meeting, Deputy Minister Ryu and TCS Secretary-General Lee Jong-heon mutually expressed appreciation for their respective support to enhance trilateral cooperation in the area of disaster management and spoke highly of the achievements made in the 5th Trilateral Ministerial Meeting on Disaster Management which was successfully convened last September. Deputy Minister Ryu acknowledged the TCS' continuous efforts to follow up on the outcomes of the ministerial meetings including the organization of Trilateral Table-Top Exercise (TTX), expert/working-level meetings and training workshops. The TCS Board commented that they would continue to find ways to upgrade the existing projects while standing ready to provide necessary assistance for the Ministry's activities.
Taking this opportunity, both Parties have also reaffirmed their commitment to exploring and developing more concrete projects to bring substantive benefits to the people of the three countries, and hoped that they can continue to work together in this regard.
