Others Deputy Secretary-General UMEZAWA Akima Participated in the 6th Conversation Session of International Organizations and Seoul Metropolitan Government

Deputy Secretary-General (DSG) UMEZAWA Akima attended the 6th Conversation Session of Seoul-based international organizations (IOs) and Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG), which was held on May 17th, 2017 at Seoul Global Center Building to explore possible ways for further cooperation and to promote partnership among the IOs and SMG. The Session was hosted by Global Urban Partnership Division, SMG, and participated by around 80 representatives of IOs, Mayor of Seoul, and SMG officials.
During the Session, DSG UMEZAWA delivered a presentation introducing the role and achievement of the TCS and future plan in economic and environmental cooperation, in particular the Trilateral Business Network and Trilateral Teachers’ Exchange Program tasked by Trilateral Environmental Ministers Meeting. DSG UMEZAWA also mentioned that the TCS will further explore cooperative ideas with IOs, highlighting the one of the functions clearly stipulated in the Agreement that TCS will communicate and coordinate with other international organizations.
