On August 21, 2025, Deputy Secretary-General of the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) YAN Liang met with Vice President of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) YUAN Mindao in Beijing.
YAN Liang introduced TCS’s recent efforts in promoting trilateral friendship and mutual trust among China, Japan, and the Republic of Korea through various local government exchange and youth exchange programs. He expressed appreciation for CPAFFC’s longstanding role in fostering international friendship and looked forward to closer collaboration in advancing regional people-to-people ties.
YUAN Mindao commended TCS’s contribution to regional cooperation and shared CPAFFC’s experience and initiatives in strengthening friendly exchanges with neighboring countries. He expressed readiness to explore synergies with TCS in local government cooperation area.
