Others TCS Co-hosted the 2021 Special Exhibition by Artists with Developmental Disabilities 2021-07-08 ~ 2021-07-10

The Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) co-hosted the 2021 Special Exhibition by Artists with Developmental Disabilities with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the ROK at COEX from July 8 to 10, 2021. Under the theme of “Trilateral Communication Blooms through Art”, the special exhibition displayed 48 works (16 pieces per country) that showcase beauty of each country by artists with developmental disabilities from the three countries. 

Four Korean artists, ROK Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs YEO Seung-bae, Chinese Ambassador to the ROK XING Haiming, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Japanese Embassy in Seoul SOMA Hirohisa, TCS Deputy Secretary-General CAO Jing and Deputy Secretary-General KANG Do-ho attended the opening ceremony held in the morning of July 8. Deputy Secretary-General CAO stressed that this special exhibition is a meaningful opportunity for the people of the three countries to share their minds through culture and arts amidst unprecedented pandemic, and hoped that the three countries would hold more such events to resolve prejudices and misunderstandings about disabilities as well as to contribute to building a healthier society where each and every citizen of the three countries lives together.
