The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan organized the 1st Directorial Meeting for the 8th CJK Ministerial Conference on Transport and Logistics on June 12-13, 2019, in Tokyo, Japan.
The delegations from Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan, Ministry of Transport of China, Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries of ROK, and the TCS participated the meeting to have in-depth discussion on various agendas for the 8th Ministerial Conference. The TCS delegation was headed by QIAO Wen, Director of Economic Affairs.
During the Meeting, Director QIAO Wen made opening remarks stressing the importance of the trilateral transport and logistics cooperation and emphasizing the role and effort of TCS to facilitate the cooperation. She stated that the TCS will continue to follow-up closely to support the transport and logistics mechanism.
The three ministries discussed on the progress and future plan of the Actions Plans, exchanged information on the 4th Industrial Revolution and Environmentally-Friendly Logistics, and discussed on the preparation for the 8th Ministerial Meeting. The TCS also made a report on the progress and the future plan for the development of the Trilateral Transport and Logistics Website.
The three delegations and the TCS reaffirmed their commitments for close collaboration for the successful preparation for the 8th Ministerial Conference.
