Seminar & Forum Deputy Secretary-General HAN Mei attended the CJK Health Industry Forum in Guilin, China 2019-05-23

On May 23, 2019, Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) Deputy Secretary-General HAN Mei attended the CJK Health Industry Forum in Guilin, China and delivered congratulatory remarks. 

 

In her congratulatory remarks, Deputy Secretary-General HAN Mei reviewed the progresses and achievements of trilateral cooperation during the past 20 years in various areas. Facing common issues like the ageing population and the rising need for healthcare, the three countries have complementarities and great cooperative potentials in the development of health industry.

 

The Forum was organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Guangxi Committee and the Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, which aimed at promoting cooperation in the health industry among China, Japan and the ROK, and was themed under “Investing in the healthy industry, sharing development opportunities”.

 

More than 100 participants attended the Forum, including representatives from CCPIT, Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, CCPIT Guangxi Committee, General Consulate of ROK in Guangzhou, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency Korea (KOTRA), and CJK enterprises.

 

The CJK Health Industry Forum is an important international platform for connecting partners from the three countries and will contribute to enhancing trilateral cooperation for industrial and sustainable development.
