Others TCS Delegation Visited to Tokyo, Japan 2019-03-26 ~ 2019-03-28

TCS Delegation headed by Deputy Secretary-General (DSG) HAN Mei visited the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) of Japan, had the meeting with the Yantai Government and the Yantai Investment Development Board, and participated in the 44th East Asia Business Council (EABC) Meeting on March 26-28 in Tokyo, Japan. 

 

On March 26, DSG HAN met Director of Northeast Asia Division of the METI KOBAYASHI Koji to discuss TCS’s further support for the trilateral economic and trade mechanism. At working-level meeting, TCS Director of Economic Affairs QIAO Wen had a deep discussion on TCS’s current project “Joint Study on E-Commerce” and future cooperation with Deputy-Director of the METI, SADATANI Satoshi.

On March 27, DSG HAN met Deputy Director-General (DDG) for Environment and International Affairs of the MAFF HASHIRAMOTO Osamu to discuss the future possible project for the trilateral cooperation in agriculture area. Mr. HASHIRAMOTO welcomed TCS delegation and showed his appreciation to TCS’s active participation in the trilateral agriculture cooperation.

On the same day, DSG HAN met the Yantai Municipal Government headed by Yantai Mayor CHEN Fei to discuss TCS’s future support for the trilateral economic cooperation at local-government level.

On March 28, TCS delegation participated in the 44th East Asia Business Council Meeting. ASEAN+3 business representatives, the TCS and ASEAN-China/Japan/Korea Centers were invited to the Meeting to discuss strengthening regional cooperation in ASEAN+3 economic and business sectors. At the Working Group meeting on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Director QIAO Wen introduced the International Forum for Trilateral Cooperation (IFTC) 2019 which will be held on May 10, 2019 in Beijing, China. Director QIAO also introduced the Trilateral Business Networking Reception (TBNR) and sought more engagement of MSME in ASEAN+3 in the TBNR program in the future.
