Seminar & Forum TCS participated in Asian Conference on Disaster Reduction (ACDR) 2013 2013-01-23
The Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) participated in the Asian Conference on Disaster Reduction 2013 as an observer. The conference was held on January 23, 2013 in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, hosted by the Asian Disaster Reduction Centre (ADRC). The Conference has been held since 2003 in order to promote information sharing, exchange opinions, and enhance partnerships among member governments, international organizations, academic community, private sector, and civil society organizations. 

In each session, the presenters introduced substantial methods and systems regarding the Disaster Risk Reduction based on their research results and discussed how to adopt those methods into real practices.

With an aim to learn experience and seek cooperation on disaster management, the TCS delegation visited the ADRC on January 24. Executive Director NATORI of the ADRC extended his warm welcome and agreed that as important international organizations in Asia, the ADRC and the TCS should establish relationship with each other.
