Secretary-General SHIN Bong-kil visited Beijing and Yangzhou, China from April 24 to 26, 2013. The purpose of this visit was to discuss the direction of the trilateral cooperation and activities of the TCS in the future. During the visit in Beijing, SG SHIN met with Foreign Minister WANG Yi of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. LU Shumin, Vice President of Chinese People’s Institute Foreign Affairs (CPIFA), Mr. FENG Zuoku, Vice President of Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (AFFC), and Mr. HU Xijin, Editor-in-Chief of the Global Times. In Yangzhou, SG SHIN participated in ASEM symposium on “Towards Peace and Prosperity in Asia and Europe: The Need of a Dynamic ASEM.”
