Others TCS-UNISDR Co-organized the Trilateral Local Government Exchange Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction

The Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) and the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction Global Education and Training Institute for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR-GETI) co-organized the Trilateral Local Government Exchange Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction in Incheon Metropolitan City, the ROK on November 4-7, 2014.
About 40 local government officials participated in the Conference. They are from Miyagi Prefecture, Hyogo Prefecture, Niigata Prefecture, Shizuoka Prefecture, Ibaraki Prefecture, Tottori Prefecture and Sendai City of Japan; Qinghai Province and Sichuan Province of China; and Incheon Metropolitan City, Namyang-ju City, Changwon City, and Gapyeong County of the ROK.
The Conference consisted of a seminar and a training workshop, where the participants exchanged respective policies and experiences on disaster risk reduction, and leaned relative expertise on building cities more resilient.
