Others TCS Board Members Paid A Courtesy Visit to Chinese Vice Foreign Minister LIU Zhenmin

On November 25, 2015, TCS board members visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of China and exchanged views on trilateral cooperation with Vice Foreign Minister LIU Zhenmin.
Secretary-General YANG Houlan expressed sincere gratitude towards Vice Minister Liu and Chinese MOFA for the strong support and guidance for the trilateral cooperation and TCS’ work. He expressed that the TCS is delighted to see the resumption of the Trilateral Summit in early November, believing it will not only advance the trilateral cooperation to a new height, but also add strong impetus to East Asian cooperation. He reassured TCS’ commitment to closely follow up and implement the outcomes of the Summit, and looked forward to continued support and guidance from Chinese Foreign Ministry. SG YANG also expressed the hope that the three governments could push forward the establishment of Trilateral Cooperation Foundation (TCF).
Vice Minister Liu spoke highly of TCS’ efforts in promoting trilateral cooperation in the past years and hoped TCS could play a more important role in the future. He assured that the Chinese MOFA will continue to support TCS in various aspects, particularly in its capacity building and increasing TCS’ influence in the region and the world, by encouraging its participation in regional cooperative mechanisms and linkage with other regional organizations.
