Others TCS Board Members Paid a Courtesy Visit to Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan 2015-12-14
On December 14, 2015, TCS board members visited Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan, and exchanged views with Mr. YAMAWAKI Yoshio, Director-General for International Affairs. 

TCS Secretary General YANG Houlan emphasized the significance of education exchange among China, Japan and the ROK, and highlighted the agreements reached by the three leaders to establish the Trilateral Education Ministers’ Meeting and expand “CAMPUS Asia” program. He hopes that the MEXT can take an active role in implementing these agreements. In addition, SG Yang noted that the TCS stands ready to collaborate with the three parties for relevant follow-ups. 

Mr. YAMAWAKI expressed his willingness to expand “CAMPUS Asia”, and noted that Japan is ready to discuss the relevant expanding measures in the first Trilateral Education Ministers’ Meeting. In addition to education exchange, he also showed his expectation on strengthening the trilateral cooperation on sports as well as science and technology.
