Others SG YANG Houlan Participated in 2015 China-Korea Confucianism Dialogue

Secretary-General YANG Houlan of the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) participated in the 2015 China-Korea Confucianism Dialogue held on December 18, 2015 in Qufu, China. At the opening ceremony of the dialogue, SG Yang delivered congratulatory remarks by emphasizing the important role of Confucianism in deepening mutual understanding of the three countries as well as promoting regional integration as the common culture shared by the three countries in the long history. He suggested establishing the “Trilateral Confucianism Dialogue” among the three countries to promote the future cooperation on Confucianism.
SG Yang also attended the session “Review and Prospect of humanistic communication between China and the ROK” as a panelist, and introduced the current situation of people-to-people exchange between China and the ROK.
2015 China-Korea Confucianism Dialogue is hosted by Nishan Forum Committee, bringing together around 200 participants from various fields including 80 officials and scholars from China and the ROK.
