Others TCS Secretary-General OU Boqian Visited Daegu Haany University and Daegu Health College 2022.04.29 ~ 2022.04.30

On April 29, 2022, Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) Secretary-General Amb. OU Boqian paid a visit to Mr. BYUN Jung Hwan, Honorary President of Daegu Haany University. 

Secretary-General OU first highlighted the 10 years of accomplishments made by the TCS. and emphasized the importance of public health during the global pandemic outbreak. She further introduced the efforts of TCS in promoting trilateral cooperation in aging societies and looked forward to strengthening cooperation with relevant organizations as well as universities and contributing more in this area. 

President BYUN extended a warm welcome to SG OU and expressed his appreciation for her visit to Daegu Haany University. He spoke highly of the TCS's achievements and expressed his full support for TCS. He mentioned TCS has great potential to build strong relationships with China, Japan, and Korea and wished for continuous development. He promised to support the Trilateral Cooperation, as well as fulfilling their duty as the university to promote and nurture the talents of students.

On April 30, 2022, Amb. OU Boqian paid another visit to Ms.NAM Sung Hee, President of Daegu Health College. 

SG OU expressed sincere gratitude to Ms.NAM for the warm welcome and shared insights on the youth projects covering CJK Speech Contest, Young Ambassador Program (YAP), and especially highlighting the CAMPUS Asia. SG OU shared her view on the significance of creating an opportunity for students and discussed with President NAM on areas for local universities' cooperation. She also mentioned the TCS's plan to initiate a unified platform which will combine all TCS's Youth Projects so as to provide an opportunity for the young generation to meet and exchange ideas with one another. 

Ms. NAM extended a warm welcome to SG OU and expressed her appreciation for the efforts made by the TCS. She extends firm support and high expectations for the TCS' role and responsibility as a bridge to strengthen relations between the youth in China, Japan, and Korea. On behalf of Daegu Health College and the Korean Council for University College Education, she showed a keen interest in the future opportunity to jointly work together with TCS on youth projects in particular, the CAMPUS Asia project.
