Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) Deputy Secretary-General YAMAMOTO Yasushi was invited to deliver lectures on Trilateral Cooperation at Professor ITO Go’s seminar in Meiji University and Associate Professor HIRAKAWA Sachiko’s special lecture session in Tokyo, Japan, from April 17 to 18th, 2019. The purpose of the lectures were to increase awareness of Trilateral Cooperation in Japan, as well as of the TCS.
The lecture at Meiji University encouraged the students to continue thinking, seeking, and discussing the possibilities of trilateral cooperation. Following the lecture, the students asked questions and shared their thoughts and personal experiences of trilateral cooperation.
Two lectures were held at Waseda University, with Associate Professor HIRAKAWA Sachiko’s invitation, on April 18, 2019. DSG YAMAMOTO introduced the TCS and presented the development of the 20th anniversary of the trilateral cooperation. After the lecture, the students posed questions and made comments regarding the issues, which the three countries have in common. Further importance on participating in youth programs and international dialogues were also mentioned.
