Others TCS Delegation Paid a Courtesy Visit to the Ministry of Commerce of China

On February 6, 2018, the 4th Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) Board paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Commerce of China (MOFCOM) in Beijing and met with Mr. PENG Gang, Director-General of the Department of Asian Affairs.
The two sides exchanged ideas on the to-be-held 12th Economic and Trade Ministers’ Meeting, the Trilateral Cooperation for Improvement of Supply Chain Connectivity joint study and E-commerce joint study facilitated by TCS, as well as the FTA seminars independently organized by TCS to promote public awareness of China-Japan-Korea FTA. Mr. PENG expected TCS’ increasing role in this regard.
TCS underlined the importance of economic tie contributing to the stability of the region and expressed TCS’ willingness to support the three ministries and further promote economic cooperation.
