Others TCS Delegation Paid Courtesy Visit to the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China 2018-02-06

On February 6, 2018, the 4th Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) Board paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China in Beijing and met with Vice Minister Mr. GU Zhaoxi to exchange views on disaster management cooperation among the three countries. 

Vice Minister GU Zhaoxi welcomed the TCS delegation and positively evaluated TCS’ role in promoting the trilateral cooperation on disaster management related area. To follow up the outcome of the 5th Trilateral Ministerial Meeting on Disaster Management, he agreed with the TCS’ involvement to strengthen the cooperation among the existing education and training institutes located in the three countries. He emphasized the importance of information sharing on the system of emergency command in dealing with natural disasters, as well as related experience and technology sharing among the three countries. 

The TCS Board appreciated the constant support from the ministry and emphasized TCS’ full support to further advance the disaster management cooperation among the three countries.
