Others TCS Delegation met with Japanese and ROK Ambassadors to China

On February 5, 2018, the 4th Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) Board met with Japanese Ambassador and ROK Ambassador to China respectively.
Japanese Ambassador, H.E. YOKOI Yutaka pointed out the importance of coming Trilateral Summit Meeting as a momentum for the development of trilateral mechanisms. TCS Secretary-General LEE Jong-heon expressed deep gratitude towards Amb. YOKOI’s support for the trilateral cooperation and the TCS and consulted for further substantial cooperation. Both sides agreed on the importance of lessons from the European experience of regional integration and the practical and tangible outcomes of regional cooperation to endorse public support on trilateral cooperation.
ROK Ambassador, H.E. NOH Youngmin expressed high expectations on new TCS Board’s active role and agreed to make sincere efforts together for the enhancement of trilateral relations as well as bilateral relations. SG LEE accentuated TCS’s efforts on public diplomacy bridging the three countries through people to people exchanges and promotional activities which contains huge potential for cooperation between the two institutions. Both sides wished a big success of coming Pyeongchang Olympic Games and agreed to keep the close cooperation on consecutive Olympic Games in the three countries.
