Others TCS Board Members Paid Courtesy Visit to the Ministry of Education in ROK 2017-12-08

 

On December 8, 2017, board members of TCS headed by Secretary-General LEE Jong-heon paid a courtesy visit to Mr. KIM Sang-kon, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education in ROK, to share ideas on trilateral education cooperation. 

 

Minister Kim recognized the significance of the CAMPUS Asia program, CJK Children’s Story Exchange, CJK Youth Exchange Program among others. He requested TCS’ support in expanding educational exchange among the three countries, including the exchange of ideas in the academia. 

 

During the meeting, Minister Kim and Secretary-General Lee exchanged appreciation for the contributions to exchange and cooperation in education among China, Japan and ROK. TCS board members commented that they appreciate the ministry’s support and agreed to provide all available assistance to the efforts of all three ministries of education in the three countries.  

 

The two parties reached consensus to continue strengthening their partnership for promoting cooperation in the field of education in China, Japan and ROK to cultivate future-oriented young leaders to lead the region’s shared development.
