Others TCS Delegation Paid a Visit to Nagoya University

On March 29, 2017, the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) delegation headed by Secretary-General YANG Houlan visited Nagoya University of Japan and held a meeting with Mr. WATANABE Yoshihito, Vice President and Trustee of International Affairs and Public Relations of Nagoya University.
Secretary-General YANG and Vice President WATANABE exchanged views on the significance of student exchanges among China, Japan, and the ROK. Secretary-General YANG emphasized that despite the current global challenges faced by the three countries, people-to-people exchanges especially among the young generation should be expanded. Vice President WATANABE also mentioned that student exchanges are very important and must be actively expanded. Both stressed the importance of student exchange programs such as CAMPUS Asia and the Young Ambassador Program to serve as a focal point for fostering cooperative relationship among the future generation of the three countries.
The TCS and Nagoya University agreed to strengthen cooperation in student activities such as the CAMPUS Asia Program, the Young Ambassador Program, and the Trilateral Youth Summit, and to explore new possible ways to advance trilateral cooperation.
