Others 1st Lecture Series for Trilateral Insights

To provide public insights and logical/cultural grounds for trilateral cooperation and also, in order to enhance the public understanding on the mutual cultural heritage and philosophy, the TCS organizes lecture series by inviting renowned intellectuals of the three countries.
▲Welcoming Remarks by Secretary-General LEE Jong-heon
1st lecture was held on October 11, 2018 and Professor KIM Yong-Oak from the Hanshin University delivered the first lecture entitled “The Future of the Trilateral Cooperation in the Era of Northeast Asia”. Professor KIM is one of the most famous intellectual in ROK and his books had been translated in China and USA. His publications mainly focusing on the classical texts of East Asian Philosophy including the Confucianism.

The lecture by Professor KIM traced the historical and philosophical background of the interaction of the three countries, emphasizing that significance of sincere trilateral cooperation in the 21st century. The lecture was followed by an active Q&A session and it ended with a big applause from the audience and photo session.
